About KonMari

The principle of the KonMari method? Make our interiors more pleasant to live in while surrounding ourselves with objects we love

Living in an orderly home influences positively all aspects of your life, including work and family.

The Japanese Marie Kondo devoted 80% of her life to the quest for perfection and developed an infallible method of tidying up, which propelled her to the rank of priestess of tidiness.

So what is so different about the KonMari method from other storage methods? It is a system that allows you to simplify and organize your home while eliminating physical objects that no longer bring you joy.

To do this, you need to organize by category and not by room in this precise order:

  • Clothes
  • Books
  • Papers
  • Miscellaneous called also “Komono”
  • Sentimental objects

A reorganization of the house generates spectacular changes in terms of lifestyle and vision of existence. When you tidy up your home, you also put your affairs and past in order. The result? You see very clearly what you need in life

Before embarking on this project, it is important to keep in mind the six basic rules:

Rule 1: Commit to tidying up and do it seriously
Rule 2: Imagine your ideal lifestyle
Rule 3: Sort by category, not by location
Rule 4: Follow the correct order listed above.
Rule 5: Take an object: does it bring you joy?
Rule 6: Thank each object before parting with it.

Do you want to become an organized person? I would be more than happy to help you.
